Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are a professional basketball team based in Brooklyn, New York, competing in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as part of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. Established in 1967, the team originally played as the New Jersey Americans before relocating to Long Island and becoming the New York Nets. They won two ABA championships in 1974 and 1976 before joining the NBA after the ABA-NBA merger in 1976.
